Found something that's not working as expected? The fastest way to report a bug is directly through the stats.fm app.
How to report a bug from the app:
- Open the stats.fm app
- Go to Settings (the gear icon)
- Tap Feedback under the "About stats.fm" section
- Tap Report a bug
- Fill out the form with as much detail as possible, then submit
This takes you to our Featurebase feedback system, which the product team actively monitors. Bug reports submitted through Featurebase are reviewed and prioritised based on impact and the level of detail provided.
Why detail matters: bug reports without enough detail get dismissed, because the team can't reproduce or investigate them. To make sure your report gets the attention it deserves, please include:
- A clear description of what happened, what you expected, and the steps that led up to it
- The platform and device you're using (iOS / Android / web, device model, OS version)
- The app version (found in the app's settings)
- Your stats.fm username so the team can reproduce the issue with your account if needed
- A screenshot or screen recording showing the bug — this is the single most useful thing you can include
- Whether the bug happens consistently or just sometimes, and any patterns you've noticed
The more specific your report, the more likely it is to be picked up and fixed quickly.
When to submit a support ticket instead: if your issue is account-specific (your subscription didn't activate, your stats are showing incorrect data, you've been wrongly banned, etc.), submit a support ticket rather than a bug report — those go through a different team.
You can also discuss bugs in our Discord server in the #bug-reports channel, though Featurebase is the official channel for tracked bug reports.
