If you’ve been banned from the stats.fm Discord server and believe it was a mistake, you can ask the Moderation team to review it.
Why bans happen
Our moderators ban accounts that break the server rules. One common case is hacked accounts. When someone gets into a member’s account and uses it to post crypto scams or spam links, we ban that account to protect the community. If this happened to you and you’ve since got your account back, you can appeal.
How to appeal
- Fill out the stats.fm Discord Server Ban Appeal form.
- Enter your Discord username and your Discord User ID.
- Tell us what happened and why you think the ban should be lifted. If your account was hacked, say so and tell us when you got it back.
- Confirm that you’ll follow the stats.fm server rules and Discord’s Terms of Service if you’re unbanned.
How to find your Discord User ID
- In Discord, open User Settings > Advanced and turn on Developer Mode.
- Click or tap your profile picture, then select Copy User ID.
Before you appeal (if your account was hacked)
We recommend changing your Discord password and turning on two-factor authentication first, so the same thing doesn’t happen again.
What to expect
- The Moderation team reads every appeal carefully.
- We can’t guarantee an unban.
- You can only send one appeal every 3 months.
- stats.fm support can’t review or reverse Discord bans. Please use the appeal form directly instead of contacting support about it.
