If you've come across something on stats.fm that needs our attention — a catalog issue with the music data, another user behaving inappropriately, or a bug — here's where to report each one. Picking the right channel helps us address it faster.
Reporting a catalog issue (wrong data in the app)
If you're seeing missing artists, duplicate tracks, wrong stream counts, wrong cover art, songs attributed to the wrong artist or album, or any other metadata issue, the fastest way to get it fixed is through the in-app report flow.
To report:
- Open the affected track, artist, or album page in the app
- Scroll down to the "Report an issue" option
- Pick the category that fits (music streams and listening count, duplicate content, track and release details, artwork and images, artist profile issues, or something else) and tell us what's wrong
Reports go directly to our catalog team, who can fix the issue at the source for everyone. This is much faster than opening a support ticket.
Reporting another user
If you've encountered another user behaving inappropriately — harassment, abusive messages, abusive profile content, or suspected stream fraud — you can report them through a support ticket.
Submit a ticket under the "I'd like to report a user" category. Include:
- A link to the user's stats.fm profile (or their username)
- A description of what you're reporting and why
- Any context that would help our team investigate — screenshots, links to specific content, or examples
A few things to know:
- Our moderation team reviews every report. No further action is needed from you once you've submitted.
- For privacy reasons, we can't share the outcome of individual reports. Even when we take action, we can't disclose what happened to specific accounts. You can trust that we look at every report we receive.
Reporting a bug
If you've found something in the app that isn't working as expected, the fastest way to report it is directly through the stats.fm app's Feedback area (Settings → Feedback → Report a bug). This goes to our Featurebase feedback system where the product team actively reviews and prioritizes bug reports.
See our bug reporting guide for more detail on what to include and why detail matters.
Reporting a privacy concern
If you have a privacy concern — a request for your data, a deletion request, or another privacy-related issue — see our privacy and your data article for the right path.
